My artwork is inspired by the beauty and majesty of nature, from the rugged coasts of Anglesey to the towering peaks of the Himalayas. Sunsets hold a particular fascination for me. No matter how many sunsets I see, I can never fail to be moved by their splendour.

Oil paints are my favourite medium to use as I love how the flick of a palette knife, or the stroke of a brush, can bring a painting to life. Artist influences include Kurt Jackson, Maggi Hambling and Jenny Saville.

I am currently working on a series of seascapes. I am also preparing my work for an exhibition at Chester Cathedral with The Artists Group.
